Pitters White Port is a blend of wines produced from white grapes grown in the Douro Valley. The wines are aged in oak vats for about three years, where they acquire mellowness and character. They are blended to produce a rich white Port in the traditional smooth, full-bodied style.

Pale straw in colour with gold highlights. A nose which combines aromas of apricot and tropical fruit with floral and citrus notes. Soft and velvety on the palate, with rich flavours of ripe fruit, the wine also displays an attractive crisp freshness.
A beautifully balanced classic white Port displaying all the distinctive character of the white Douro Valley grape varieties. An excellent aperitif enjoyed chilled on its own with olives and roasted almonds or as a cocktail mixed with tonic and topped off with a sprig of mint.

Pitters White Port is traditionally served chilled as an aperitif. You can also drink it as a refreshing cocktail in a long drink glass with ice, tonic water and a mint leaf.
Accompanied by olives, salted almonds or pine nuts, it is the perfect appetizer. It can also be paired with hard and crumbly cheeses.
This wine is ready to drink and does not require decanting. The wine benefits from being served chilled, between 6ºC to 10ºC. The particular qualities of this wine allow it to be enjoyed over an extended period of time once opened, without losing its freshness and vibrancy. Optimum drinking time after opening the bottle is within one month.
